1. All videos must be independently produced by the grantees. Outsourcing production or creative work is strictly prohibited.
  2. Grant awardees are commissioned to make a short video production between 8 and 20 minutes in length, excluding credit titles.
  3. Within the given time constraints, the video production can be created in the form of a short film, a documentary, a music video, or a combination of all three.
  4. The P30,000 grant will be disbursed in two (2) tranches as follows:
    • PhP15,000 upon signing of the Contract between Focus-Philippines and the grantee
    • PhP15,000 upon submission of the first cut of the production and the photo or video documentation of the production process
  5. The First Cut of the Video Production must be submitted not later than August 15, 2011. All submissions must be in digital video format. Analog formats will not be accepted.
  6. All material used in the films including audio-visual clips, music and text must be original. Otherwise they must be duly cited and referenced, and the Grantees must secure proper permission for their use.
  7. The final production is due on October 15, 2011. Grantees are required to submit the following:
    • 2 DVDs with English Subtitles
    • A one-minute trailer
    • Major credit titles
    • Photo/Video documentation of the production process in JPEG Format in CD
    • A Poster Design in CD
  8. All DVD shipments of submissions must be prepaid and properly labeled. Focus will not accept collect shipments.
  9. Winning entries will be screened in the month following the deadline for the final production. Grantees or their designated representatives should be available to feature their productions in the EDSA Mo, EDSA Ko! Short Film festival in November 2011, and may be invited to talk in different venues about their production.
  10. All submitted productions and production materials become the property of Focus-Philippines. Grantees are not entitled to provide public showings of their productions without notifying Focus.
  11. All commercial showings of the productions are prohibited.
